Kate Whitfield, P.Eng., MCIP, RPP, RSP1

Kate is a Professional Engineer and a Professional Planner. She has worked in the private sector since 2005 with the majority of her work being for municipal clients. Her experience includes a variety of project types in transportation planning and engineering, with an emphasis on city planning and community building. Kate has worked on projects in Canada from coast to coast to coast. Kate is known for her ability to bring the languages of engineering and planning together. She is an accomplished public speaker and facilitator. Kate is also a trained project manager with a proven track record as a problem solver.
Claire Basinski, MCIP, RPP, CP3

She is a registered professional planner (RPP), certified public participation professional (CP3) and a trained facilitator. Claire is one of the leading strategic planning and engagement professionals in Ontario who has dedicated her professional practice to integrated long-range planning and robust engagement program design. Since 2008, Claire has managed or contributed to over 75 long-range plans and over 100 consultation and engagement programs. Claire is a skilled facilitator and public speaker who is known as a creative and innovative planner that makes the process fun and exciting while generating buy-in.
Dr. Samantha Leger

Samantha is a transportation planner, urban designer, and academic researcher focused on creating more inclusive pedestrian experiences. She obtained her PhD from the University of Waterloo, where she studied how to design more neuro-inclusive transportation infrastructure that works for the many ways people make sense of the built environments around them. Professionally, her experience has revolved around developing innovative and equitable approaches to AT planning across trail master plans and AT master plans.
Rob Maxwell

Rob is a Master of Urban and Regional Planning candidate at Queen’s University, completing graduate research on the implementation of Transportation Demand Management policy in Ontario. He has experience across multiple industries, contributing to and leading cross-functional project teams. He has over 7 years of experience including international work in Africa, Spain and South America.
